Natural Fertility
Many women and couples seek fertility acupuncture at different stages of their journey. You may be preparing to conceive and wanting to understand your cycle more fully. You may have been trying for some time, whether you have a diagnosis or are still looking for answers. Or you may be finding your way forward after pregnancy loss.
I offer space to share your experience and explore your questions without rushing. At Yin Earth Medicine, I offer acupuncture and Chinese medicine consultations for natural fertility and preconception care.
Understanding your fertility
Chinese medicine considers reproductive health in the context of your wider wellbeing. I take time to hear what has been happening for you and understand what you would like support with.
Depending on your circumstances, we may focus on:
- Understanding your menstrual cycle and identifying your fertile window
- Exploring symptoms such as painful periods, irregular cycles or spotting
- Discussing conditions such as PCOS or endometriosis alongside your existing medical care
- Reviewing fertility investigations, including information about ovulation or semen analysis
- Considering sleep, digestion, stress, nutrition and supplements as you prepare for pregnancy
You are welcome to bring any relevant test results to your appointment. We can discuss practical changes that fit your life and work alongside the care you receive from your GP or fertility specialist.
What to expect
Before we meet, I will ask you to complete a detailed intake form so I can review your health history. Your first appointment includes a consultation and acupuncture treatment.
We will discuss a treatment plan based on your circumstances and review it together as we go. I may also recommend Chinese herbal medicine or supplements, offer dietary and lifestyle advice, or suggest discussing further blood tests or an ultrasound with your GP or fertility specialist.
